We spend some crazy days in Bucharest for the Experience Bucharest event, 12-16 May 2017. Each day was fully packed with tours, adventures, nice places around Bucharest to explore, great food, networking and parties.

I am grateful for having the chance to be a part of this great team call Experience Bucharest and meet bloggers and influencers from all around the world.

What is Experience Bucharest?

Experience Bucharest is the biggest tourism event ever organised in the Romanian capital. A team Romanian travel enthusiasts manage to put this together, with no help from the Romanian authorities.

70 International bloggers, vloggers and instagramers joined us in Bucharest from all over the world.

The event started on the 12th of May, with a conference “How to Promote Romania’s capital?”, which had a live audience of 250 people and thousands watched it online, via the live streaming on Facebook.

For the next 3 days, we had tours around Bucharest, while socialising and doing what we do best here in Romania, having fun.

Parties, sky bar, wine tasting, rooftop party, dancing in the street, traditional dances, clubbing, motorcycle ride around the centre, amazing cars, professional driving lessons, great food, chill afternoon… We had it all and we loved it!

If I would have to use only one word to describe it, it would be INTENSE!

Why Experience Bucharest?

Bucharest has a lot to offer, and it just starting to be put on the touristic map in Europe. Yes!! Romania is a hidden gem, to be discovered by travel enthusiasts, with many unique places and stories.

As I wrote before, there are some things you need to know before visiting Romania. I wasn’t expecting such an enthusiasm, but I was wrong. Everyone loved every second of it, and some bloggers even decided to spend some more time in Romania.

How was it like to be part of the team?

Simply put Fascinating. I believe anybody can benefit from such an event. Being part of the organising team was thrilling, exciting and joyful.

Yes, it was a lot to handle, and I had almost no idea what to expect. But together we managed to keep the activities running smoothly, although we had our challenges.

Yes, I am tired, but also content. It’s a great uplifting feeling you get when you see that pure passion can lead to what others said to be impossible to achieve.  Once again, nothing is impossible! It’s our minds we have to convince.
